IT Service Intake Terms

By signing this intake, Client authorizes Byte By Byte Backup, LLC to inspect, diagnose, repair, configure, install, update, remove, or otherwise work on the listed devices, systems, software, network equipment, accounts, and related technology as reasonably necessary for the requested work.

Client acknowledges that troubleshooting, repair, malware cleanup, operating system changes, software installation, hardware replacement, firmware updates, network changes, and data transfer can involve risk of data loss, downtime, configuration changes, licensing issues, or discovery of pre-existing hardware/software failures. Client is responsible for maintaining backups unless backup services are specifically requested and accepted as part of the work.

Estimates are not final quotes unless clearly stated in writing. Parts, licenses, subscriptions, vendor charges, cloud charges, travel, and after-hours work may be billed separately. Unclaimed equipment may incur storage fees and will be handled only as permitted by applicable law.
